Maison Carpe Diem is a comfortable holiday home (146m2) located on a natural plot of 3000 meters, a 10-minute walk from the Provençal village of Montmeyan. Nestled in the beautiful setting of the Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte Croix, approximately an hour's drive from the Mediterranean, the house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and can accommodate 4 people. The beautiful natural terrain with its pleasant corners and the above-ground pool make it a delightful vacation spot.
Arrangement
The house is all on one level. A very spacious living-dining room with a fully equipped open kitchen (American fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher).
From the kitchen, you have direct access to the covered terrace in front of the house.
Two beautiful additional bedrooms. One with a double bed of 1.60m by 2.00m and one with a double bed of 1.40m by 1.80m. There is a large bathroom with a spacious Italian shower and a sink. There are separate toilets.
In front of the house, you will find a covered terrace with a dining table. On the other side of the house, there is a kind of courtyard with a lounge. A little further on the property is your above-ground private pool of 8 x 4 meters (1.50 meters deep).

Surrounding
Montmeyan is a medieval village perched at an altitude of 504 meters. Close to the Gorges du Verdon, and the lakes: Quinson at 7 km, Esparron at 16 km, and Sainte-Croix at 35 km, as well as tourist villages such as Villecroze, Aups, Salernes, Cotignac, Moissac...
In the village of Montmeyan, you will find a grocery store, a bakery, and a butcher. There is also a small restaurant, a pizzeria, and a café. A larger supermarket can be found in Régusse (a 10-minute drive away). In Régusse, there is a lively market on Sunday mornings.
The Mediterranean seaside resorts such as Sainte Maxime, Saint Tropez, Cannes, St. Raphael, Fréjus are about 75 km from Régusse. Adventurers can cliff dive at the Calanques de Cassis. For those who prefer fresh water, there are of course beaches along the Lake of Sainte Croix where many water activities are possible, such as surfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, and paddle boating.
For hiking and climbing enthusiasts, there are beautiful hiking and climbing trails in and around the Gorges du Verdon.
Golfers also have many options. There are several beautiful golf courses in the area. Nearby (maximum 30 minutes by car): climbing, swimming, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, water sports, mountain sports.
Additionally, there are lively markets in the surrounding areas of Aups, Villecroze, Salernes, and Cotignac.
In the region, you will find olive groves, vineyards, and fragrant lavender fields (early July).
The vineyards of Entrecasteaux and Villecroze are definitely worth a visit. The Château de Berne in Lorgues is also recommended.
