Maison Kurtz is a spacious holiday home (180 m2) located on a 2000 m2 plot, just 3 km from the Provençal village of Le Thoronet in the heart of Provence. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and is rented out to a maximum of 6 people. In Le Thoronet, you will find a bakery, a butcher, a small supermarket, a pharmacy, 2 cafés, and a few restaurants. Your own private swimming pool (8.50 m by 5.50 m), the lovely garden, and the large covered terrace make Maison Kurtz a true holiday paradise. For children, there is a ping pong table, a trampoline, and a playroom. There is air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms and the living room.
The surrounding area is hilly, with olive trees and vineyards. It is an ideal holiday destination with great dining options, beautiful golf courses, and hiking trails. The Mediterranean Sea is an hour's drive away. Additionally, the famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are nearby. The town of Lorgues is a 10-minute drive and offers all necessary amenities. The market in Lorgues on Tuesdays is definitely worth a visit. It is an hour's drive from the airports of Nice, Marseille, or Toulon, and 40 kilometers to the beaches of St. Maxime, Frejus, or St. Tropez. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are about a half-hour drive away. You can reach Aix en Provence in an hour by car.
Arrangement
The house features a very spacious living/dining room, as well as a large fully equipped open kitchen with an island. There is a large covered terrace with a store attached to the living room.
Bedrooms:
- 1 bedroom with a double bed measuring 1.60 by 2 m. There is a TV in this room. The beds can be separated and used as 2 single beds.
- 1 bedroom with a double bed measuring 1.60 by 1.90 m and an ensuite bathroom (bathtub/shower, sink, and toilet).
- 1 bedroom with a double bed measuring 1.60 by 1.90 m. The beds can be separated and used as 2 single beds.
There is a second separate toilet.
The beautiful swimming pool measures 8.50 by 5.50 m and is 1.50 m deep throughout. There are 3 steps to enter the pool, and 6 sun loungers are available. Next to the pool, there is a covered area with a plancha, a microwave, and a sink.
In the playroom, you will find an elliptical bike, foosball, a children's pool table, and a drum set. Outside, there is a ping pong table, a trampoline, and children's soccer goals.
The house is located 200 meters from the main road and 6 km from the highway, making it easy to take fun trips. The nearest neighboring house is 50 meters away. The owners live in the lower part of the large property. You share the access gate with the owner, after which the path splits to your house and the owner's lower apartment. You have plenty of privacy, as these are truly two separate living units, as if you have neighbors. All the photos you see pertain to the holiday home for you as a renter.

The surroundings are beautiful, with vineyards, wine estates (Chateau La Martinette is stunning), and charming Provençal markets. The l’abbaye du Thoronet is also impressively beautiful. In Le Thoronet itself, there are restaurants, and in the cozy town of Lorgues (a 10 km drive), you will find lovely shops, a pharmacy, a doctor, a bank, a supermarket, various nice restaurants, and a vibrant market on Tuesday mornings. There are also many wine estates nearby where you can taste wine. The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera are easily accessible. The Mediterranean Sea, with the resorts of Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Fréjus, and Saint-Raphaël, is just 35 km away. The famous Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful Lac Sainte Croix are 40 km away. The city of Aix en Provence is about an hour's drive, and the airport and train station are located 50 km away.
